Intro

Welcome to our practice, and congrats for taking the important step in seeking the support you deserve!

Pain often arises when there is misalignment between the person we are in the moment and the person we’d like to be. Whether it’s internal obstacles such as anxiety, addiction, depression, ADHD, health concerns, unresolved trauma, or external obstacles such as unhealthy relationships, work demands, or various systems of oppression and injustice, there are many things in that can prevent us from identifying and moving towards our values. Our primary goal as therapists is to help you improve your mental wellbeing, connect with your values and ideals, and feel empowered to live a fuller, richer, and more meaningful life. 

We believe that alignment in the therapeutic relationship itself can be a source of healing and growth. Thus, no matter what the content of our sessions, we take great care to build a strong supportive therapeutic alliance with warmth, authenticity, compassion, and humor. No matter what the specific issue, we strive to provide therapy that is trauma-informed, culturally humble, and nonjudgmental. We are staunchly allied with POC, queer, trans, disabled, neurodivergent, and fat communities and integrate techniques from various evidence-based therapies in a way that allows us to be flexible, creative, and responsive to your unique needs. We pull from multiple therapeutic modalities, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Schema Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy, Interpersonal Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Psychodynamic Psychotherapy.
